Enter each event: time, tone type (straight-run for shift, wailing for emergency), and duration. Up to 25 events per day. One-time setup — repeats daily automatically.

RTC maintains accurate time

The onboard real-time clock keeps accurate time independently of mains power. Battery backup ensures the clock continues through power cuts.

Relay activates siren

At the programmed time, the controller's output relay closes — activating your motor siren, electronic siren, or hooter. Tone and duration are pre-set.

Manual override always available

A push button on the panel allows immediate manual activation at any time — for unscheduled emergencies, drill tests, or plant shutdowns.

Questions before ordering

How many events can I programme per day?
Maximum 25 events per day. Each event is independently configured for time, tone (straight-run or wailing), and duration. Most factories use 6–10 events: shift start, shift end, lunch, tea breaks, morning/evening.
What happens during a power cut?
The RTC continues running from battery backup — it does not lose the time or schedule. When power returns, the controller resumes normal scheduled operation. The siren itself requires power to sound — if you need the siren to activate during an outage, a battery-backed electronic siren is required.
Can I have different schedules for different days?
The standard controller supports a single daily schedule that repeats every day, including weekends. If you need separate weekday/weekend schedules or shift rotation patterns, let us know — we can supply a controller with weekly programming.
How do I connect it to my motor siren?
The controller has a dry relay output — wire this to the motor starter of your siren. Two terminals, potential-free contact, rated 5A 230V AC. No additional interface needed for standard motor starters.
Can I also trigger it manually for emergencies?
Yes. A dedicated push button on the panel front triggers immediate activation. Duration and tone for manual activation can be set separately from the scheduled events. The button is typically wired to a remote push button in the security cabin or plant control room as well.
What two tones does it support?
Straight-run (continuous, single pitch) and wailing (rising and falling). These are the two standard industrial tones per OISD and IS conventions. If you need additional tones or voice announcements, see our Voice Announcement System.
