Manually operated portable sirens for emergency drills, power-failure situations, and locations without electrical supply. Built to IS 6026. Aluminium body, weather-resistant, instant deployment.

When mains power fails, DG sets take time to start, and battery systems have limits — a hand operated siren requires nothing except a person to turn the handle. It is the backup alerting device that works when every other system has failed.
Manufactured to IS 6026, our hand operated sirens are used by Indian factories, civil defence units, mines, and disaster management teams as the last-resort alerting device. Cast aluminium body, no consumables, no maintenance beyond occasional lubrication.

There is a widespread practice in the Indian market of selling very small, lightweight hand sirens — often imported — and claiming large sound ranges of 500 metres or more. In product photographs, these can appear similar to a genuine industrial hand siren because the angle and scale are not obvious.
In reality, these units are typically 200–300 grams, palm-sized, and produce 70–85 dB at best — adequate for a classroom or sports ground, not a factory floor. The wailing disc diameter and impeller dimensions are far smaller than the minimums specified in IS 6026.
Why IS 6026 compliance matters: IS 6026 specifies minimum impeller diameter, disc slot dimensions, and rotation speed requirements to produce a genuine wailing tone above 90 dB. Undersized units fail to meet these thresholds. During statutory safety audits — particularly under the Factories Act and OISD inspections — non-IS 6026 compliant hand sirens are commonly rejected and the site is asked to replace them.
Our hand operated sirens are manufactured to IS 6026 dimensions, weigh approximately 2.5 kg, and produce 90–105 dB. They are significantly larger and heavier than the small market alternatives — which is the physical reason they are louder and compliant.
We supply hand operated sirens to IS 6026 dimensions, confirmed audit-compliant. Quote within one working day.
