Trigger your factory siren from anywhere

SMS from any authorised mobile. Siren sounds in under 10 seconds.

When your plant manager is at home at 2 AM and a fire breaks out, there is no time to call the security cabin and ask them to sound the siren. The GSM Remote Siren Control System lets any authorised person trigger the factory siren from their mobile — by sending a single SMS.

No smartphone app. No internet. No VPN. Any basic mobile phone on any Indian network. The controller receives the SMS, verifies the sender number against the authorised list, and activates the siren relay — all within 10 seconds.

When GSM control makes sense

Choose this when:

Emergency activation from outside the plantPlant manager, safety officer, or security supervisor needs to sound the siren from outside — during off-shift hours, when travelling, or from a remote monitoring location.
Unmanned or lightly staffed facilitiesPump stations, water treatment plants, remote compressor stations, sub-stations — facilities where there is no dedicated person to manually activate the siren.
Multi-site coordinationSound sirens at multiple plants simultaneously by sending one SMS — useful for group companies with linked facilities responding to the same emergency.
Backup trigger for scheduled systemsPair with the automatic controller as a secondary trigger — if the scheduled system fails, the GSM module allows manual override from anywhere.
How it works

From your phone to the siren — step by step

1

You send an SMS

Send a pre-defined command word (e.g. "ALARM ON") from your registered mobile number to the SIM card installed in the controller.

2

Number verification

The GSM module checks the sender's number against the authorised list (up to 10 numbers). Unrecognised numbers are ignored — no accidental or malicious activation.

3

Relay activates

The output relay closes, activating the siren. Tone and duration are pre-configured in the controller — wailing for emergencies, straight-run for all-clear.

4

Confirmation SMS returned

The controller replies with a confirmation SMS to the triggering number — "ALARM ACTIVATED" — so you know the siren has sounded.

5

Deactivate remotely

Send "ALARM OFF" to stop the siren remotely, or the siren auto-stops after the pre-set duration.

Buyers ask us

GSM siren questions

What if the GSM network is down?
The controller also supports a wired push button input — so local manual activation always works regardless of network availability. For critical sites, we recommend the GSM module as a secondary trigger paired with a hardwired primary controller.
Which mobile networks does it work on?
Any 2G GSM network — Airtel, Jio, Vi, BSNL. A standard 2G SIM is installed in the controller. Note: if your site is in a very remote area with poor 2G coverage, verify network signal at the panel location before ordering.
How many people can be authorised to trigger it?
Up to 10 mobile numbers can be stored as authorised senders. Only these numbers can activate or deactivate the siren via SMS.
Can I receive an alert when the siren is triggered by someone else?
Yes. The controller can be configured to send a notification SMS to designated numbers whenever the siren is activated — by any method (SMS command, push button, or scheduled controller).
Does it need an internet connection?
No. SMS-based only — no internet, no app, no cloud service. This makes it reliable even in areas with poor data connectivity.
What is the monthly SIM cost?
A basic 2G SIM with SMS capability costs ₹50–100/month on most networks. No data plan required — SMS only. We recommend a BSNL or Airtel SIM for best rural coverage.
